Cumbria Junior Academy has just spent three fantastic days training at Hill Farm for the junior academy camp. There was a complete mixture of abilities but each and every one had a great time.
Each rider had a flatwork session each day with Judith and Pam Prickett and Andrew Millen did a jumping session with each group over the three days. There were stable management sessions, assessments and the camp finished with a style and performance jumping competition in the afternoon.
I think each and everyone had a great time and they all improved noticably both in ability and confidence over the three days. The weather was perfect for both riding and watching and I think the adults had as much fun as the kids.
Vicky Buckley ran a Zumba class on the Wednesday night which was great fun. The only disappointment was that Andrew had to leave but he has promised to stay next year and show us his moves!
